The AppPool identity was the default "Network Service" account. All rights reserved. I used webdeploy to upload a couple of practice/test sites a few days ago.

  3. This got the nopcommerce install a lot farther along, the bin was created and the plugin dlls were copied over to it.
  4. For some reason the App Pool Identity (such as IIS_APPPOOL\SiteName) isn't granted access when "Everyone" is.
  5. I've checked the permissions and had our IT NT guy look and he verified all permissions.
  6. The bizzare part was that "Network Service" account had Full Control on "c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\Temporary ASP.NET Files" folder but running Filemon would still show Access Denied for the "Network Service" account on "c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\Temporary
