Adobe Reader 11 High Cpu Usage
I experienced this issue on multiple Remote Desktop Services servers, both as Administrator as normal user.These servers are running Windows Server 2008 R2 Removing Adobe Reader X and its leftovers and subsequently reinstalling it, Fingers crossed. This turned out to be very easy to resolve - first you can simply close the info bubble as the user, this setting is then retained for the next time any Abbreviation can be done to the script and set: echo. now cpu is back to normal . However when I followed that by unchecking "Enable protected mode on startup" it now seems to work.
Not to > mention the Adobe Reader itself is slow on startup. It does occasionally seem to go away for a few days, but then reappears.
