Incidently, the servers in which I am trying to set up the Distribution Points are Windows 2008 32bit. When viewing SMS_DISTRIBUTION_MANAGER alerts, I see: 2370Distribution Manager failed to install distribution point ["Display=\\xxx.xxx.local\"]MSWNET:["SMS_SITE=PR1"]\\xxx.xxx.local\ on computer xxx.xxx.LOCAL. I am having the same problem after installing sp1 on my sccm 2012 server. It does not take three days in order to set it up.
