I then did "service nfs start" and ran "showmount" and it returned what it was supposed to return. portmap : xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/255.255.255.0 : allow portmap : ALL : deny This changed nothing. I can also connect with NFS from a different client computer. I recived the same error upon attempt to connect.
