I tried msconfig and attempted Diagnostic Startup but it requires me to be the administrator....I AM the administrator! :bounce: I'm losing the plot! Although it's my old computer I still want to use it for the internet and it has loads of programmes that I still use which I don't want to transfer to i do not understand why my monitor turns itself off and then back on again. the power button on the monitor becomes yellow, and my monitor displays a message indicating that the connection between the computer and the monitor is working properly.
