Hm, rings a bell! If so, it would have saved allot of work just to go back to an earlier backup of the registry, assuming that is possible when the OS won't boot. Kapat Evet, kalsın. Its been a nightmare so uninstalled hp and all related items and comp much faster and smoother now all glithces so far are not there. if you need to go to the list and show details to see date then do that. I'm trying to avoid paying for some one else to fix it, if at all possible, but the dell support told me my hard disk might just be dying.
- Then had installed ZoneAlarm Security Suite.
- The PC booted just fine in Safe Mode, but didn't boot in Safe Mode with Networking.
- I have not encountered this issue before and therefore cannot rely on experience to solve this.If you have any words of wisdom, I would surely be grateful.

I went HP's website and found (I think) the BIOS for the my notebook but its an .exe file. Before this problem occured I didn't install anything new (no driver, no update...), just read some blogs. I left it up all night and the screen didn't change. This might enable you to save your files, or indicate whether the disc is crap or not. It's time to consider imaging the drive.
